Hip bands are commonly used to activate and strengthen the glutes, hips, and thighs while enhancing Pilates, toning, and bodyweight exercises.

Where should I place the hip band?

The best placed to put hip bands is just above the knees specially if you are doing squats, glute bridges or lateral walks. If you want the resistance to hit differently, slide the band down to your ankles to level up the challenge during lateral movements.

Are hip bands better than resistance bands?

If you want to focus on lower body training, especially for glute activation, hip bands are better. But for a whole-body approach, you can move to using regular resistance bands.

Will hip bands slip during workouts?
